We Are Experiencing Some Technical Difficulties..

So, I really wanted to ost yesterday's events yesterday, but it got late, and I was eating pintxos, so... no problem... I'll finish it today before I start walking.

As I mentioned yesterday, the hostel was great, checkout at 11am, and I'm up by 840am and out by 9am. Sit a ross the street to have my morning Cafe con leche and finish yesterday's blog, and I run out of memory on the free version of Wix... no problem... I upgrade to pro, and finish at 1040am... just as I go t hit publish, the app shuts down... when I reload, I can't find my post... the 1 1/2 hours I spent the night before and the 1 1/2 hours this morning are gone, and I am miserable. But the camino waits for no one, so I start walking...

San Sébastien Beach in the morning, with far less tourists around. .

The walk out of San Sébastien...

And through a pretty park...

Starting the day with, you guessed it, more stairs...

Last view of San Sébastien...

Nice water and coastine view from above...

You could tell all the pilgrims who went by picked an apple because the only ones on the tree were over 7 feet in the air!

I believe the town in the background is Orio and Zarautz is on the other side of the mountain behind it...

Moo cow videos...

Fountain, not well... but still, nice of them to keep it in good working order!

Me grumbling...

A path through the mountains...

On second thought, I probably wouldn't make it 50 feet without cracking my noggin open, so I guess I'll just stick with walking!

A typical way marker on the camino, that typically pointed uphill!

You would think they might put a sign up or something letting us know what the gurgling is...

Oh... they did... about three steps after I shot that...

I like this .. I may just put it onto a t-shirt!

Just another boring Vista!

The long and winding road...

After some tough climbing, this was an absolute pleasure to come across... They say the camino always provides...

Another spectacular view...

Trying to give some perspective on what it looks like in real time coming down some of those hills... Your eyes and feet seem to adjust quickly to finding the easiest route down...

I could have used a strong coffee at this point, but had to go with decalf...

Pondering dinner plans..

Each view seems to get better and better...

There were a lot of these in one small section at the start of the town of Orio...

The old town of Orio...

The end is in sight! Last hill Into Zarautz...

Zarautz is the surfing town of the northern coast of Spain, and there were plenty of (wannabe) surfers on the water...

Dinner tonight was recommended to me by a Frenchman who I struck up a conversation with at the hostel.. Chuleton de Vaca Vieja... Dry aged ribeye... expensive, but maybe the best piece of meat I've ever eaten... guess I'll have to have McDonald's tomorrow!

More technical difficulties... my phone shut down briefly in the middle of the day, and the relive app only seems to have counted mileage from when it restarted, or maybe only up to that point... Real distance traveled today from San Sébastien to Zarautz was 23km plus 2 more km to the hotel, for a total of 25km..

TOTAL DISTANCE TRAVELED SO FAR-65KM

It looks like way to many Gourmet meal stops and not enough walking. A typical meal on a long walk should be brief stops on the trail pick a few berries then eat a few and give the cows and sheep a few berries and then start walking again.

Hi Lawrence it looks like you are doing good the only thing that I noticed is that those Cows you have been talking to don’t speak English they are Spanish Cows!
